Legal form

A Swiss association is governed by its statutes. As a non-profit, we have no share capital and pay no dividends; any surplus stays inside the Association and funds our work.

Our seat in Geneva puts us close to the international organisations whose work touches the Greater Caspian Region most closely, and we draw on that proximity in our convening.

Governing bodies

The governing bodies

We have two bodies: the General Assembly and the Committee. The General Assembly is our highest body, and every member may take part. It elects the Committee, which directs the Association. Those who hold office are listed on our People page.
